3D shooter Zeitgeist invites the player to take control of a futuristic space plane equipped with deadly weapons and good maneuverability. You have to fly across vast expanses, pass asteroids and fight alien enemies. The gameplay focuses on dynamic battles with opponents, motherships and other bosses arriving from another part of the galaxy.

The aircraft is controlled in a limited way. It always flies forward, and the user can only dodge opponent's projectiles by turning to the side. Here much attention is paid to the rifle unit. The gamer needs to aim accurately and select the time for the attack, since the ammunition does not reach instantly. As you progress, access to new weapons opens up, and opponents become stronger, stronger bosses and their minions appear.

The player's task is to kill the largest number of opponents around, moving in two directions, dodging dangerous shots. The passage is divided into missions, and some tasks take place in outer space, and the rest near satellites or inside space stations. The enemies are armed space fighters and huge ships. By destroying enemies and moving through the levels, the user acquires improvements and additional equipment.
