Zombie Shooting Star: ARCADE puts players in the shoes of Rudy, a skilled fighter on the dangerous planet XX, overrun by hordes of mutants and zombies. The goal is clear: defeat the undead and mutants, find and destroy the formidable Mutant Core before it can regain its destructive power. The main campaign features a range of varied challenges across Gunplay, Platformer and Automotive-Action modes, spanning levels 1 to 36.

The adrenaline rush doesn't stop there; Arcade mode boasts 30 levels of authentic zombie-slaying action, with special levels providing a unique experience. The story revolves around the Mutant Core, an evil force that infects and assimilates living beings, wreaking havoc on the once vibrant planet of Unia. Despite a costly battle, the inhabitants of Unia manage to destroy the Mutant Core, only for its remnants to travel into space.

These debris stumble upon the teeming planet XX, full of life that can be infected. Unian forces quickly develop a plan to intercept and destroy the remnants before they can become a threat. With warp energy at their disposal, they zero in on Rudy, a fearsome warrior immune to the mutagen, and transport him to XX in a matter of seconds. The girl's mission is clear: survive on a dangerous planet filled with mutants and find the remains of the Mutant Core before they can reassert their destructive power.
