Zoo Tycoon will make the user the owner of his own zoo, which must be brought out of its shabby state and achieve prosperity. There are two modes in total – scenarios and free play. In the first, the gamer is obliged to complete assigned plot tasks and achieve a certain rating for the institution. In the second, at the beginning you can choose one of dozens of spacious maps and difficulty, and without any restrictions, develop the zoo until you get tired.

The gameplay in Zoo Tycoon is multifaceted and requires the gamer to have a certain understanding of how to satisfy all the needs of animals and visitors. All success depends on these two factors. As for the former, it is important to create a favorable environment for them so that they can calmly coexist and reproduce. For each species, you need to build enclosures and buy certain products and medicines. Only happy creatures can please customers and make them pay money.

However, it is not enough for people to simply observe the inhabitants of enclosures – they also have needs that are important to satisfy. At a minimum, they will need other entertainment, as well as places where they can eat delicious food and drink cooling drinks. Therefore, you will need to build restaurants, snack bars, and so on. Not all representatives of the fauna are available from the very beginning. From the start, the owner is able to purchase only the basic set, and then open new and rarer ones.
