Far Away From Home is a tactical role-playing game in which players control a hero named Simon. The protagonist travels in the company of other characters, exploring a large open world. You will have to fight against various monsters and powerful bosses. Defeated enemies drop loot and useful items that can be used in battle. Locations consist of cities, plains, mountains, caves, etc.

The plot tells how many countries united to create a huge hadron collider. However, when it is launched, mysterious rifts open, drawing the inhabitants of the planet into the other world. Simon and his squad find themselves on the other side of reality and now he and his people have to find their way back.
